On behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee, I would like to thank all those who attended the recent International Conference on Bovine Mycoplasmosis, which was held in Saskatoon on July 7-9, 2009. Our initial goal was to attract 80-100 researchers and private practitioners. I am very pleased to report that we had over 130 speakers and registrants. The attendees were truly international in scope, drawing people from 12 different countries including: England, France, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Austria, Kenya, Israel, and of course, from all parts of Canada and the United States.

A number of individuals remarked that this Conference may in the future be looked back upon as a pivotal event in mycoplasma research. To maintain the momentum that was generated at the Conference we will maintain this Conference website and use it as a conduit for sharing information between researchers.
